3 Rail Fence

Doweled Wood Fences, also known as Western Rail Fences, are made from high-quality pressure treated pine rounds that fit together using a doweled end fitted into a mitered socket. Doweled Wood Fences are available in 2 rail, 3 rail and 4 rail configurations and are an attractive and durable improvement to your property, pasture, arena or stock pens.

3-Rail Fence

The 3 rail is offered in both a flat top and the domed top with 7’x5.5″ line posts and 7’x6.5″ ends or corners.

Usually the 3 rail is buried 2.5″ in the ground with 4.5″ above and the center of the top rail at 4′. The rails are primarily 8′ long and offered in our standard 3.5″ or in a jumbo 4.5″ and rails can be custom made to any length to fit your needs.

3 Rail configurations are perfect when wrapping larger pastures for horses and larger animals. 3 Rail fences are also common when choosing aesthetic applications or borders where large animals may be a concern.
